The Daytona State College Aquatic Center is open to the community. To make it more convenient to patrons, we have developed daily, four-month and yearly rates. The paperwork and payment can all be done at the Aquatic Center. Access fees are non-refundable, non-transferable, and subject to cancellation.
Access ID cards will be issued to all individuals with membership access to the Aquatic Center. Upon each visit to the facility, all individuals must present their ID card and sign in at the desk before entering the pool area.
Daytona State College Stroke School
Stroke school is for kids who can swim basic freestyle and backstroke. Swimmers in this group should be able to swim 25 yards without stopping. Freestyle, breastroke, backstroke and butterfly will be taught, as well as stroke technique, side breathing, endurance and racing turns.

The Daytona State College Aquatic Center features a 25-yard X 25-meter indoor competitive pool, heated to a comfortable 82 degrees. The facility is humidity and climate controlled to ensure a pleasant environment both in and out of the water year-round. There is a 4 foot shallow area and a 12.5 foot deep end. On most days, there are up to 6 lanes available for lap swimming. The Aquatic Center is located on Daytona State College's Daytona Beach Campus in Building 310.
The Aquatic Center is designed to accommodate instructional, recreational and competitive activities. Lap swimming is available. A certified lifeguard is on duty at all times and the pool is handicapped accessible with both a ramp and a hydraulic chair lift. The Aquatic Center staff is available for assistance with the use of these devices, however, they are not trained to perform transfers.
The Learn To Swim program is an American Red Cross program designed to teach all ages to swim and be safe around aquatic environments.
The program is broken into seven levels, starting with water adjustment skills and
advances to competitive stroke perfection. Water safety is stressed and taught to

Our water exercise program provides a total body workout for those of beginner to advanced fitness levels. Classes include exercises for aerobic conditioning, flexibility, and strength training. Aqua Aerobics offers a safe and refreshing way to exercise for all ages. All classes are taught by an experienced instructor and can be modified to fit your needs. Whether you are looking for an alternative workout to your regular gym routine, recovering from an injury, or have arthritis and weak joints, you will benefit from this class! Aqua Aerobic Classes are held every Monday, Wednesday, & Friday from 11:15 am- 12:00 pm and on Tuesday/Thursdays from 5:30-6:30 pm
